Calf Stretching
On the edge of a step, stand on the balls of your feet..Leg-up and lower your heels as long as they go. Do 40 repetitions to stretch back to the calf muscles.
Pedaling
Lie on your back on the floor supporting yourself with your hands. Raise your legs and pedal as if riding a bicycle.
Tip-toes
Walk around the house on tip-toes to stretch the calves.
Heel Walk
Walk around the house on your heels.( not always, just for 15 minutes or so)
Raise the Legs
Lie flat on your back on the floor. Lift your legs, straighten out alternately and hold them for as long as you can to enhance muscle circulation in the legs.
Knee-bends
Lie flat on the floor with legs stretched out. Haul one leg up, the knee towards your chest. Hold the leg behind the knee and flex your foot. Repeat with the other leg and alternate for several repetitions.
