During winter you can see people rushing to hospitals or nursing homes to recover from cold that cause breathing problems. Cold weather does have its effect on the normal respiration and its triggers the respiratory disease. Cold and dust is a major cause for stimulate respiratory ailments like allergic rhinitis, cough, and asthma.

Asthma is a chronic condition marked by frequent attacks of breathlessness with wheezing. Ayurveda treatment is powerful and prevents form respiratory ailments. Prevention is better than cure; a syndrome or infection can be well prevented only if the causative factor is recognized. Asthma can be regulated by understanding the causative and stimulating factors.

Common causative factors

Exposure to dust, pollution, cold weather, excessive exercise, swimming or any other physical activity, extreme indulgence in slimming process, injury to vital parts like head, chest or bladder are the causes for breathing problems.

Intake of dry food stuffs, untimely food, indigestion, gastritis or ulcer, consumption of incompatible food stuffs and cold water especially after roaming in sun is the other causes of respiratory diseases. Eating up sesame, rice flour, lotus stem, spicy food that causes burning sensation. Diseases including diarrhea, fever, vomiting and rhinitis, injury to chest, anemia and intoxicating drinks can cause breathlessness.
